What we actually help with.

Six practice areas. All of it advisory — conversation, findings and a written plan you own. If something needs building afterwards, that is your call and your choice of who does it.

Marketing Strategy & Advice

Most small businesses are doing five marketing things at once, none of them all the way. We go through what you are spending time and money on, work out which of it is actually connected to how you get paid, and give you an order to do things in. Often the most valuable part is the list of things to stop.

Brand & Positioning

Positioning is the answer to "why you and not the other one." If your team cannot say it in a sentence, your customer certainly cannot. We work out what you are genuinely better at, who that matters to, and how to say it in language a customer would actually repeat.

Customer Retention

Winning a customer is the expensive part. Most businesses do it, then let the relationship go quiet until the customer forgets them. We look at what happens after the sale — the follow-up, the second visit, the reason to come back — and build something deliberate where there is usually nothing at all.

Business Culture

Your customer does not meet your marketing. They meet whoever answers the phone. Culture work is unglamorous and it is where a lot of marketing money quietly leaks away: the tone on the phone, what happens when something goes wrong, whether the team knows what the business is even promising.

Operations & Customer Experience

We walk your business the way a customer walks it — the first call, the quote, the wait, the handover, the invoice. Then we tell you where it is worse than you think it is. This is usually the least comfortable part of the work and the fastest to fix.

Fractional Marketing Leadership

Some businesses do not need a plan, they need somebody senior in the room every month asking the hard question and holding the thread. That is what this is: a marketing head for the hours you need one, without carrying the salary.

Working together

Three ways to engage

Scope and fee are agreed in writing before any work begins. No prices are published here, because the right shape depends on the business — and quoting a number before we have met you would be guessing.

Single Session

One long conversation about one problem, with a written summary of what we agreed. For businesses that need a second opinion, not a project.

Assessment & Plan

We look through the business properly and come back with findings and a written plan you can act on — with us, with Annie's, or on your own.

Ongoing Advisor

A standing arrangement. We stay close to the business, meet regularly, and are on the end of the phone when something comes up.

How we work

Six steps, start to finish

Conversation

A free call. You talk, we listen, and we work out whether we are any use to you.

We go through what you have — the marketing, the brand, the way the work actually gets done.

Findings

What we saw, said plainly, including the parts that are already working.

The Plan

A written plan with priorities, in an order a real business can actually follow.

Hands On Deck

If the plan calls for building something, we help you get it built — by whoever you want doing it.

Let's talk about your business.
